Epona Equestrian Solutions Website Design

www.eponasaddlesandbridles.co.za

This four page website showcases leather saddles and bridles (as well as accessories) which are imported from Germany. It has four pages including an introduction on the home page, which includes downloadable PDF files explaining the need for Treeless Saddles and other products on the site.

Then, we have a product catalogue page - again with downloadable PDF files containing all the products and accessories available, which will be updated periodically. A gallery page shows some of the products being used and the contact page is just like any other. Customers are to get in touch to see a price list.

This site was also a referral from a happy client and was a fun project to work on. Notably, it was created entirely by e-mail correspondence alone and I’ve still not met the client or spoken to her on the phone, which I think is the miracle of modern technology. We think we’ve done a good job in promoting the company and showing it’s products in an easy-to-navigate and quick to download website. I like the sillouettes of the horse-riders on left and right and the client’s preference of Georgia for the body copy was a nice break from our usual Verdana. The autumnal shades was not my first choice, but I think it works beautifully now that it’s online. Your comments are welcome!

Sandvelder B&B and Tours - Bookmark & Flyer Design

Sandvelder Tours & B&B Flyers & Bookmark

This bookmark and flyer were designed for Sandvelder B&B and Sandvelder Tours respectively. They were both beautifully printed on 300gsm stock by Fine Line Print in Cape Town.

The Sandvelder Tours website is currently under construction and I’ll post the design and link once finalised. Sandvelder B&B is 4-star rated and is situated in Velddrif on the West Coast. It offers self-catering accommodation as well as full bed & breakfast. Alec and I were privileged to experience the full spread put on by Bill and Anna in December and I can guarantee you will not leave the breakfast table hungry! The rooms are also luxurious, comfortable, relaxing and beautifully decorated.

Renosterbos Cottage Flyer Design

This DL flyer was designed for a lovely cottage offering self-catering accommodation in Malmesbury. I created a small illustration of a Rhino at the client’s request, although the name Renosterbos actually refers to a certain plant, which grows in the Swartland area. If you’re looking for a quiet, private and comfortable place to stay, just 65km from Cape Town, let me know or you can contact the Malmesbury Tourism Information office for more details.

The Swartland Development Foundation Flyer

This A4 flyer was designed to invite investors to partner with the foundation to uplift the Swartland community. They run educational, youth, housing and other workshops and projects to uplift the community and are based at the De Bron Centre in Malmesbury.

The logo was designed prior to my involvement.

A Beautiful Experience Logo

This logo was designed a while back for a company offering Accommodation and Properties across the Western Cape. Not much to say about this one so your comments are welcome!

JTC Mad About Me Logo

This is a logo designed for the Swartland Municipality Junior Town Council. It is the message the Junior Town Councillors want to give to our youth in 2008. The councillors, wearing branded t-shirts, will be selling the branded badges at R5 each from the 6th to the 10th of October at all the high schools in the Swartland region. Adults are encouraged to participate as well by purchasing the badges from the Municipality or any of the JTC members.

Kerskonsert - A4 poster and A5 flyer

Kerskonsert Poster A3

This event promotion poster was designed for M4 Artist Management for an upcoming Kerskonsert (Christmas Concert) at the Taal Monument in Paarl on the 30th of November. Performing artists are Bobby van Jaarsveld and Lianie May.

As all of the logos for the poster had some red in it I decided on a red theme and used various star shapes to give a festive atmosphere. I also like the inclusion of the profile of the Taal Monument on the right hand side of the design.

Just 4 Fun Balloons

This fun design was created for a new Balloon Bouquets and Décor service in Malmesbury. It is situated at Jugs & Teacups Hiring in Rainier Street. The flyer was created to promote Just 4 Fun Balloons and also educate customers about the many uses and applications of these colourful arrangements. Illustrations were created showing just some of the examples, but we are hoping to do a second one incorporating actual photographs of balloon creations. Watch this space!

Swartland Municipality Communication Survey

This communication survey is an A4, printed full colour boths sides and gate-folded to DL size. It will be distributed shortly to the whole of the Swartland region. I used the same colours as in the Annual Report and also the ‘valley’ shape at the bottom of the page.
