My name is Nicki Ford and I am a freelance Graphic Designer. I’ve been freelancing in a little town, just north of Cape Town, South Africa, called Malmesbury, from 2007 to 2020. We moved to the UK in 2021 and I’m now based in Derby, in the East Midlands in Great Britain.

I have over 20 years of experience and have previously worked in London and Manchester. I would be happy to help you with a new logo or complete corporate identity – including business cards, letterheads, brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, newsletters, social media, banners and vehicle signage as well as package design.

I’ve recently worked with many event organisers on annual events including:

• Western Cape and Limpopo Buite Expos and the Land Cruiser Festival, which I’ve been working on for Trio Events since 2015,
• Solo Studios, which is a full weekend of art experiences in the Riebeek Valley, held in August, which I worked on since its inception in 2016 to the 2019 event,
• Riebeek Valley Olive Festival, which usually takes place in May and I worked on in 2019 and the build up to 2020 before it was then postponed indefinitely due to Covid-19.

My event work has included various print materials such as logos, flyers, magazine and newspaper ads, posters, programs, maps, booklets, tickets, lanyards, etc. and various posts advertising all aspects of the events on social media.

I communicate with clients solely by email and on WhatsApp or Google Meet and using Dropbox or We Transfer for proofs and artwork. With technology today I am able to complete your design project wherever you may be.
