This website is a basic WordPress website as the client requested a ‘business card’ on the internet. It scrolls on one page, but there are links to a few of their projects for people to take a look at a small photo gallery of each. They declined a new logo design as they’d already printed it on signage and vehicle branding so I used the blue colour in the design.
These are various ads and facebook post images created for the kykNET Buite Expo, which happens in February at Môreson Farm in the Western Cape.
Above and below shows some of the flyers created for the Buite Expo. These are featuring the musicians who would be performing, the fun rides at the kids play park and various products which would be exhibited on the weekend.
Below shows just some of the Facebook post images created for the many outdoor activities available on the weekend, which included helicopter rides, camping and 4×4 rally rides and test drives.
Below shows some of the kids activities for the kykNET Buite Expo, which included shows by the very popular Lollos and Tjiff & Tjaff.
And last, but not least is the flyer design for the kykNET-sepie Vuurgeveg, which in english is the kykNET Soapie Braai Challenge (sort of) where actors from three South African soap operas compete at cooking something on hot coals as is our South African tradition.
Just a note that I did not design any of the logos seen here so I’m only responsible for the layout designs.
The Swartland Country Market has been an annual event, held by the Santam Swartland Wine & Olive Route, in October for the past few years and this year it was given a bit of a freshen up design-wise. I used a sunburst and a picnic basket showing some of the product you could buy at this event with all the fresh produce, delicious food and wines on offer.
Above shows a poster design, small newspaper ad and a DL flyer.
This year the brochure is missing Sue Beattie’s charming illustrations, but for a good reason. The 2016 Annual Review features photos of all the staff and wonderful people who make the Goedgedacht Trust the success it is today.
It was quite a project to get all the photos in place with the correct names and such, but after a few revisions and corrections the final product was sent to print in October 2016. Hats off to the wonderful team behind the scenes who made it happen!
The client had a very specific brief and requested the soft pink colour and the mannequin and scarf so I presented her with a few designs for the logo and after one or two options for the graphic she approved.
Above shows the Facebook Cover Image and e-mail signature as well as the little logo used as the company Profile Pic.
Below shows the owner’s business card design. It is 90 x 50mm and printed in full colour on both sides on a matt stock.
And below are images for a recent Facebook competition.
This A4 flyer was designed for an Extra Virgin Olive Oil Expo, which took place at the Olive Boutique in Riebeek Kasteel just this past weekend. I was asked to keep the colours earthy and I used fonts already chosen by the logo designer, Johann Human who also created their fantastic website.
This brochure was given a new cover design and some updates to the map, info and photographs. It is one DL panel width wider than an A2 size. See the previous design here.
This brochure was given a fresh, new design in July 2016. We changed the layout from the previous design to feature each town in the region on one side including contact details for each tourism office.
On the reverse we included a smaller map showing the main connecting roads linking the towns, an events list and a list of establishments along some different themes like Outdoor & Adventure and Food & Wine.
This is the newly updated size and design for the flyer, which I also did in 2014.
This 2015 annual review for Goedgedacht Trust again features wonderful illustrations by Sue Beattie. The brochure folds open to an A2 size.
See the design for the previous year here.
